4LO are parallel PVs tapered Yamaha made 3 YPVS heads embossed with Y1, Y2 and the later Y3. As far as I remember the early ones are straight M10x1 while the later Y3 is tapered M10x1 (or maybe even a similar pipe thread?). Someone may confirm one way or the other? Jon You are correct Jon Y1 and Y2 are straight Y3 is tapered Think m10 x 1mm is the nearest metric I had an inline sensor mount made and handed in the koso sender I think the engineer said it was 1/8 npt. Can't quite remember 🤔 Don't think there is much between them A bit like a 13mm and 1/2 socket Steve

Just want to confirm M10 x 1 straight fitting The quote above is a load of bollox. Today i made a fitting for the Bakker bike because my temperature sensor is too long to fit into the cylinder head without obstructing the flow. The thread in the fitting is M10 x 1. The sensor will only screw half way in before the thread binds. Steve is right. Sorry Lukey

Can't quite remember 🤔 Im sure the tapered thread is a plumbing thread like bsp etc, tho I will say it probably is 1/8 npt. I have a tap for it somewhere as Ive made my own threads (and cleaned up others) over the years. The parallel threads will fit and sealing them is a good idea, you could also drill and rethread them if you wanted.
