Been searching the forum for the last half hour but not coming up with anything. I`ve put a set of 31w carbs on my 350, I upped the pilots to 27.5 as reccomended but i cant find anything re the mains. Its got 240`s in at the moment would it be better with 220`s which is standard Lc jetting ? Its just not running right, hard to put my finger on what, carbs are a black art to me

If I remember correctly, if you use Pv carbs on an otherwise standard Lc, you go with standard Pv jetting. Pilots seem rich at 27.5, I think they are 22.5 as standard, but a common mod is to up pilots to 25's. Been some time since I had that set up. I'm sure someone will confirm, or otherwise !!

Just double checked - I had 31w's on the semi hybrid Lc I built. I bought them off Shaun and he rebuilt them and set them up to 31k settings - I added bigger pilots by 1 size. Have you blocked off the vacuum spigot for the Pv fuel tap ? Dusty

Thnks guys, I`ve deffo got that pipe blocked off, I must have read it on here that 27.5s was the way to go on the pilots, but I`m thinking now that may have been with pipes and pods,And i mamnaged to get a standard airbox though the bike did have pods. I`m going to downsize the pilots for a start

Its interesting how he says sometimes jetting down is the way to go, and not to just automatically jet up.
