The Teflon? coating on my carb slides is wearing away should I remove the rest or leave well alone

yes, they all do that. Ive never looked but i expect they can be recoated?

yes, they all do that. Ive never looked but i expect they can be recoated? Yes you can re-coat. On the smaller gas engines 22cm bore, we repaint the piston skirts with teflon. If i don't forget i will get some information tomorrow about the paint and post it in this thread.

This is the coating which is literally painted onto the pistons. You first have to heat the material up which you have to coat. Then you paint it on. It is very poisonous and the jury is out on how effective it is to use on a piston as there are other types of coatings available.
