The crank is swarf free, 🙏 I filled the crank with fresh petrol and spun it round and used a magnet tool down there, and no swarf, then used a syringe and tube to suck all the fuel out it was just a little dark coloured with zero particals or bits, phew, so it didnt wear the rings with swarf, just over bored it too much What a relief🍻 Dave Swarf with a magnet? What if it is aluminum? Think about it😉

Hi marrcel, I filled and drained it a few times, and spun the crank well, then emptied it with a large syringe and clear pipe and all was crystel clear of any particles alloy or steel, happy days

Whenever you do a rebore, give your pistons with the manufacturer instructions to your engineer. Never order a rebore without knowing which piston you use. There is a difference between cast and forced pistons. 😉

Hi guys, Just an update, the cylinders were indeed way over bored, just got these little beauties back from pjme yesterday freshly bored and blasted, so ive painted them in vht satin enamel today ready to put back on, what a great job from pjme, even matched each piston to each cylinder, Dave👍 Its happened to me as well luckily my pistons were a bit too tight in the bore. One thing i've learned as a fitter is that everyone makes mistakes so always double check when possible.
