I believe they did, they (The wheels) are worth decent money now and seem to be more valuable than the cast wheels which goes against what used to be the case. I’ve just bought my first a/c but plenty of knowledge on here again, usual suspects incl dusty reed Pete seems to be v knowledgeable and has helped me out loads.

Worth more money, or chancers asking and getting more money, I do love a good debate.

2 positives of spokes is less weight and the capability of having wider rims without any other alteration than a respoke .

HTH OEB back in the day ; we would weld the rear master cylinder bracket to the frame and convert to rear disc with cast wheels ; i bought a pair of cast wheels and bracket for my 250C ; before i got the welding done i put the front cast wheel on ; floating calipers on the Es so the brakes wouldnt work ;

The VIN is the key, a C would have vin starting 1A2-00. its the spoked rear disc hub that fetches stong money , used to build era race bikes and more available than TZ.

At least there’s no penalty whatever way you go.
