unless its very newish Id think with panel damage and a pull it'd probably be written off wouldnt it?

Will be a category s insurance claim, structural damage. The cost of repair and associated depreciation of car value due to insurance class will probably mean it's written off.

If it turns out to be category n, mostly cosmetic it's probably an economic repair.

Depends on the damage to the chassis
Mind you there are some car ‘o’ liners out there that can do an amazing job, gone are the days of a plate bolted to the floor and a chain puller to hopefully pull in the right direction
They are programmed with measurements where all the important chassis components should be, and then different types of grips are put on the chassis, hooked up to hydraulic rams or pullers, hit the button and away it goes, one straight chassis
A quick remeasure and off they go

Replied in your other post but couple of q's
How much panel damage can their be from reversing?
No insurance involved so not paying their over inflated quotes
How feckin fast was she reversing? Was it like an 80 year old doing the old parking an automatic and getting the wrong pedal trick?
And finally you should ban her from driving anything without parking sensors 😁

Yes parking sensors only work if you pay attention to the noise they make when something or someone is about to be hit
There is no substitute for using your eyes and getting into the car after walking around the back of it BEFORE you reverse
It's a bit like reversing beepers, you , me and the average adult knows what the noise means, there's a vehicle reversing, perhaps towards you, time to get out of the way
Unfortunately toddlers haven't got a clue what the noise means so don't get out of the way

That ain't the only prob I used to always say I could understand how my father in law could have so many parking bumps with sensors Fast forward a few years, got a company Mondeo and the sensors pick up changed like a slight kerb or where the road stops and changes to grass Reversing out a space parking sensors go nuts I looks in the ns mirror, nothing but a kerb a few feet back Looks in the rear mirror, all clear Looks out the back window, nothing Feck it, nothing there as usual Bang, half of bumper pops off Feckin lamp post in the blind spot of rear pillars 🙄 Steve

Parked in front of a low bollard once when I had my children and couple of nephews in car, taking them to a funfair, were highly amused when I forgot it was there when pulling away. Only a slight tap as was nearly touching anyway, out of sight out of mind. Not too many years ago reversing off an ex’s drive in van and didn’t see a post opposite in my blind spot, post ok, crease in rear door. In posters case, an expensive lesson
