250 d assume the 400 is the same tried the ac forum no success

They are different I believe Veg. I think the 250 had 1 angled bracket as it has a narrower engine mounting casting on the top of the crankcase. I suppose you could buy 2 400 brackets and use a spacer to take up the gap. I bought 2 new pattern brackets off ebay for £15. I will find a link  Dusty  |

I had to buy a front mounting bracket too, and the 2 long bolts in stainless etc etc
