Hard to pick a fave among all those but i think parts would be easier & cheaper to get for a a middle aged stroker Vs a WW2 Tank...

You have to hand it to the guys in WW2 in their little Cromwell tanks. Im sure I would completely sh*t my self if I saw a Tiger or the 88mm anti-tank gun for that matter. must have steel ba*ls.
It was only near the end when they got the Sherman firefly tanks to combat the Tiger and Panther's.

Lovely bikes Chris, you must be well chuffed with that collection.
Those Tigers are something else too. The guys that restore those are proper āolive green boltā nutters indeed a real passion
I am sure Norbo will be chipping in soon on these beauties.

Youāve gotta love an x7 One of the easiest bikes to flip, Suzukiās first intro to utilise light weight rather than more power? A few mates had them from new, one was put out that my rd200 stayed with it on the A2 with mine off the clock. It shouldnāt have been able to but he didnāt grasp I was at the perfect point of a slipstream. Managed the same thing on a cb550 against a z650.

One of the reasons I like riding in France I think, a lot of drivers seem to go out of their way to accommodate you. Guess you mean a car though?

You have some nice looking bikes there, don't let my bike hear this but I think your X7 is my favourite. What air filter are you using on the 350E? The airbox to carburettor tube looks different

I couldn't get the original rubbers to align with the filter box and I didn't want to use pod filters , so I got some "reinforced ducting" (dont laugh)to do the job utilising the original filter box.
The x7 is nice but very twitchy. Not as solid on the road like the Rd's.

I know itās not supposed to work so well with pod filters without the y tube but I had excellent results on my 75 rd350 with a much larger main and no other change to the carbs. Bike did have a few tweaks elsewhere though. Only took 2 jet changes to get it right, the first test ride was very interesting, donāt think some appreciate me relating my experiences so wonāt. Unless I get a few requests.

You and Norbo could have tank battles, see who the better shot is lol
Not at each other though
That would be really entertaining at the bike shows

LOL, Norbos tank would be a bit out gunned against a Tiger I fear... haha. Unless he can get behind it... (as we all know from watching war films as kids... same way as an adult i learnt that zombies need their brains killing to stop em... and they say TV isnt educational, pah!)

Yeah I used to sit on there a lot in my work van when I lived near the Blackwall tunnel

I think Norbos tank has been powdercoated , plated and polished to fook so he wouldnt want to get it dirty anyway... Norbs?

Been an RD person myself but have ridden the opposition, the X7 is up there with the best of the aircooled 2 strokes, bookending the LC on track when it arrived. Anyone remember Jimmy Webb? Saw him at Brands on one when they came out. X7 that is.

My tank would be blown to bits with one hit from a tiger LOL Although my tank would be a 5 times as fast and does fire 3 shells at a time i could get of about 6 shots in the time the tiger would load and fire 1 one and wiz round a tiger like a kid on a bmx to jcb. But LOL my shells would bounce of the tiger and would do very little damage id need a f**king 12 hits to do anything to it and as i dais 1 shot at me direct hit would blow the turret clean of . My tank all so can turn on the spot no turning Circle the tiger would turn like driving round a house on full lock.

Was in the same social circle as my mum, he wouldnāt pull any punches about the atrocities he saw. He himself was holed up in a house and shrapnel from a shell took quite a lump out of his skull, needing a plate. Couldnāt see why they didnāt shape it as it was dead flat, he always wore a cap. My dad wouldnāt talk about the war.
