Nightmare
In saying that unless you live locally (and that ain't a lot of folk as it's the middle of nowhere) you have no reason to be there
Hope they were stopping cars too

Once they allow family bubbles my brother lives out on the back roads 😉 Steve

I have used my bike to do a couple of trips taken a rucksack and have a shopping list. The form of transport shouldn't matter its the destination that should, so going to a pub? (I assume its a pub/cafe rather than a statue or deity to the gods of plastic footwear Although you lot nowt would surprise me, you still burn whicker men don't ya? ). Thats just stupid, if i get stopped on my bike I will be asking why? Do they consider my motorcycle to be a lesser form of transport than a car? Surely visits to shops, etc are essential and as long as i am not too far out of the way and not taking the piss i can't honestly see it being a problem. In the sunnier part of the UK you can be served with notices for impounding of vehicles for anti social reasons etc not sure about the legislation above the wall, i would suspect though dibble would be easy enough to challenge.

It's a cafe/shop in Tyndrum When you look at it on a map it is obvious why a load of bikes have no reason to be up their (other than having a helluva lot of fun) Steve

Good roads, is it on the fort william road? Great if you're a local, but i can see why they got in the shite, was couple of bikes done for travelling 200 miles to whitby to get chips again just bloody stupid. You should be ok getting the the bike mot'd steve, although again your lot don't have PACE (Police and Criminal Evidence Act) which is kind of our rules on not being dick heads, and i know having worked with your lot that they tend to be less accommodating to those they see as idiots.

Yes that's the one. The Green Welly is at the fork for Oban and Fort William Less forgiving up here as wee Jimmie Krankie (Sturgeon) is being tighter on travel but roads are getting busier so can understand them taking a stance Had a laugh while out for a walk with my wife last weekend. There is a cemetry road behind my street and as we were waking down there was a chap on the phone behind us talking to someone on the phone telling someone where he was walking. Few minutes later a car comes down and stops at him, the window goes down, hand goes in the window, hand straight back out, both turn round and go back where they came from Obvious drug deal. Why aren't the police noticing that local car driving around all day 🙄 Steve

Know it well, love the roads round there, last time we were up stayed at Cameron house on Loch Lomond tool my porker 4s and had a right giggle on the roads. Beautiful roads, haunting scenery and an incredible history. No wonder it’s my fave country, 👍. Old bill wise Steve it’s easier to swan about looking ‘cool’ and handing out fines that dealing with real criminals and picking up paperwork ( laziness).
