What with the furlough going on (my wife is and Iโm self employed) I am building a candy blue hybrid. The frame was picked up on eBay 12 years ago (German frame so will need registering once itโs built). The engine I built 2 years ago, and the body work was for sale from muttsnuts .I with picked up most of the stuff over the years. If will be a bit slow as I had a type A aortic dissection last year.I feel 90+%better now.

Got the engine in. In time I want to keep the oil pump so I've mounted the cdi in the battery box.I am thinking a tiny battery in the tailpiece.

I wonder how many 'extra' rebuild projects will result from the Covid situation? Good to see them being resurrected and good to hear that you are 'on the end' too! I'll keep a watch on this and the others, just in case I start to slack! Paul

That looks really good. There is something about clip ons that make an lc front end look 'right' in my opinion.๐

I'm still in denial when it comes to being middle aged . I'm lucky in one respect............ My last 2 engine rebuilds only lasted about 300 miles, so I didn't get to suffer. ๐ I have fz600 front going on this time, the clip ons fit over the top yoke, so isn't too extreme. Fingers crossed the motor lasts long enough to find out if I can handle it.๐
