Good evening Gentlemen
I've just joined your Forum. I own an old aircooled RD, if you have ever popped over to the Aircooled Forum you may have seen me there. Three weeks of Furlough and constant household duties have made me desperate to read about other people's more exciting lives, so I have joined you guys here to help bolster my motorbike mojo Take care out there Richard

Hi Motty Welcome to the forum I recently rejoined the windy forum after a few years away. Quite quiet over there compared to here !! Still good though Lots of guys here either own, or have owned ac's, so you'll fit right in ! Enjoy Dusty

I have popped a photo of my RD up a post or two above this one. Please don't get upset if you prefer standard bikes, I like mine as it is, I'm sure there is room for everyone's tastes

Looks a nice Rd Motty And don't worry, we are a friendly lot - bike slagging doesn't fit in here There is probably more modded bikes than standard on here, so you are in the right place !! Dusty

that a 400dx front and rear with 400c calipers? The wheels and swinging arm are E, the rear caliper is D or E. The rear master cylinder is C or D as they activated a pressure switch rather than a mechanical switch. I believe the forks and front caliper to be original

I really should of said hi long ago but just found this thread. I'm 54 now and had my LC since I was 17. Had loads of bikes but always kept the LC and still love to ride it. My boy will undoubtedly inherit it. He loves them too. My first trade is engineering and have now got a small work shop. As some of you my know I produce the gear shift fix which lead me here. Kind regards to you all if I can help I will.
