Did a couple of little jobs Fitted longer bolts on the dog bones to allow Nyloc nuts on them Couldn't find high tensile for the link arm arm bolt so as it's M14 I thought A4 should do the job

Then as I'd removed the centre stand on my other build I decided to fit it to this bike Don't know if I'll leave it on, will wait till it's further on and see how it looks It has stand bobbins anyway but thought the stand will help at the building stage

Looking grand Steve Did the top yoke need much modification to take the lc ignition and lock? You have made it look quite straight forward (as usual)

Looking grand Steve Did the top yoke need much modification to take the lc ignition and lock? You have made it look quite straight forward (as usual) It's quite simple. Its easier on an f/n frame as the lock tab is lower The switch mounts on the yoke are the right spacing but m8 and too long You just cut them down a bit to make the lock the right height to hit the tab on the frame You then drill the holes deeper and tap them with m6 threads On the ignition surround on the top yoke you need to bring it out a bit on the lc2 to get it to clear the switch body Bottom yoke is quite easy too. Lock stop tab on frame simply need another bit welded on the end as the tabs are further out The stem is too long by 20mm All that needs done is the top bearing area, the castle nut threads and the top yoke thread need machined/cut 20mm further down and 20mm cut off the end The yokes are cheap as chips. You can even use a fazer bottom yoke and an xjr400 top yoke like my other build Steve

Front wheel in now Standard Fazer front wheel and discs. The fazer uses a digital Speedo but instead of triggering via a sensor on the drivetrain there is a drive with a cable giving a pulse signal to the Speedo Luckily a ypvs Speedo tab washer, retainer and oil seal go straight in the wheel Then an rd400 Speedo drive with a slight mod to the housing where the drive locates onto the fork leg fits the wheel and even is the right width so is a straight fit with the Fazer spindle and spacer. Also fitted a pair of refurbed tdm 850 front calipers with stainless bolts Steve
