So now I’ve got the right discs I went to fit the brake hoses and seem to have a problem. As you can see in the picture the hoses are 90 degrees out of line. I have tried a gentle twist but no way are they going to move. I’ve had the kit for ages so it’s not going to be able to be returned if manufactured wrong! Phil

Where the banjo connector goes into the hose it's on a nut with small olive. Loosen that nut, connect the banjo connector to the brake caliper then nip the nut up with it all lined up correctly The original VJ23 layout is 1 line to 1 caliper then a loop over the mudguard to the other side Page 56 www.characterdata.co.uk/RGV%20Manual/VJ23_parts_manual.pdf

They are swaged fittings on the hoses & are crimped in position

Yeah Phil The hoses you have are swaged ends, crimped up and cannot be adjusted. To save you having to buy new hoses, you could source a different splitter to clamp under the yoke. If you completely undo the banjo at the splitter and loosely fit the hoses to the calipers, it will give you an idea of what type of splitter you need and the angle for the fittings. I am sure there will be a few for different bikes using this set up (available on eBay) or you could get one made up Someone like NK maybe? Look at the splitter Alan Kelly has on his 400/4, something like that might do.
