Removed the Allspeeds today as slight blowing and weeping.
Complete pig's ear of a job done on fitting.
Any advice on correct way to fit some Allspeeds please ??

Buy new flange gaskets and rings
Fit the gaskets and rings but just nip the flange bolts and no more
Using a finger put a thin smear of silicone on the inner edge of the flange stub
Then slide the exhaust header in, fit the rear bolt and the header springs
Then torque the flange nuts

Whys that? I find them easier to fit than the bulky and heavy OE pipes.
Not saying its correct but this is what I do, pop the flanges on first , adding some high temp silicone seal to where they meet the barrel , I also use one of the copper metal O gaskets and 2 of the fibre gaskets on each pipe.
After fitting the exhaust and fitting springs, I leave it all overnight so the seal goes off, no leaks or drips at all after that, from mine anyway.

i put the flanges on with gaskets first, then smeared some exhaust seal with my finger around the join on the inside which probably wasn't necessary but if nothing else it made me feel like i'd done a proper job.. and then smeared some more on the pipe and slipped it into the flange, silicon would probably have been more flexible..
