Which bike?
If its a 250/350 4L1 or 4L0 you need to remove the speedo/tacho unit to be able to get to the rear. I've never done it whilst on the bike as reckon it will be very difficult.
So... -disconnect speedo and tacho cable from rear of clock housing (if not finger tight, try with pliers) -disconnect 3 plugs to clocks from inside the headlight shell (need to remove 2 screws on headlight shell at approx 4 and 8 o'clock position to remove the glass) -clocks are connected by 2 off bolts (need 10mm socket and spanner to remove) to headstock. Note the mounting bracket should be sat under the mount bosses on headstock -once removed you can open up the black cases via 4 dome nuts on underside. 8mm socket if I remeber correctly -this will allow you to get to the internal wiring and the various bulb holders -once replaced, fit in reverse as above. Remember to fix clock bracket under the bosses, not on top.

Its a pain on all our bikes i reckon if the dash is on the bike, but it is possible. Ive done them on all models and its slow work.

Best to replace them with LED's rather than bulbs if you can, brighter and lasts longer.
