Was just wondering if the button can be refitted in anyway from inside the switch or any type of repair kit, knowing my luck I will have to buy a complete switch 😩 any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

it looks to have broken off the plastic bit inside the housing, I doubt you can fix that. Yambits (and maybe norbo?) sell just the button tho, easy to change it too.

If you know someone with a small lathe, maybe making a part to fit could be another option?
Unlikely to look OEM but it should get the bike through an MOT shall we say.

I'm amazed that they do such a part in the first place to be honest, always worth checking their website for such like I guess.

I was trying out the indicators, gave the horn button the slightest touch and it pinged off, in just the same way as the original poster. So thanks for the peeps who linked to the Yambits part. And it was only yesterday that I swore I'd never buy anything again from Yambits...

I've used them in the past for this part and seems ok and a quick cheap fix.
