Always fancied one of these rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F254514605930I looked at buying a variety of different bikes, Buell lightning, nearly got a Tz350 which turned out to be a 250 but it didn't happen, outbid on others, a purchase in Germany fell through, then just happened upon this, i have owned lots of dukes and love the motors, these normally go for £10k upwards so was a little suspicious at first but the owner needed the cash, a deal was struck and she is now sat in my garage, roll on the summer, warm evenings, sunny mornings and a classic limited edition Duke to go and play on.

Well veg.. you are a long time dead! And no doubt it could be improved cosmetically at least, with a little work on the seat. Nice motors but never owned any thing Italian except Berettas and a Perazzi.. and silk ties, oh.. and a Honda Hornet..

Yes I do like that. Still looks like an old school bike like what we grew up with, but probably goes, handles and stops 100 times better lol Ill stick with my old triple though John

Cracking bikes apparently tried finding a decent buell and people either are completely unrealistic about price or condition. Had to park that thought.

Andy was desperate for a buell had loads of buell but they were all over priced or knackered. This is everything I want as well as being very well priced.

My cousin has one, owned it from near new, the bars on his are lower for definite so it cripples him on a longer run buts its a fantastic looking and sounding bike...and its gained a fair bit in value, so a wise choice mate.

Got a thing about 4stroke twins owned numerous Ducati’s bmw twins, Guzzi V11 couple of Meriden Bonnies and a ahem Harley sportster, this has everything I want upright riding position 90 hp 70 ft lbs torque less than 200kgs fuelled and classic looks bar the seat. And a bargain into the deal I’m happy. Have you got an old t150/160?

Not got a Triumph triple though had loads of twins TR6, TR7, T120s, T140s over the years
Current triple is my old Laverda 3CL Jarama. Still got my 850 Commando as well and the strokers so enough to keep me going for now.
2 years ago on the IOM, i chased after one of those GT1000s up over the mountain on my Laverda. It was bright yellow and my old bus is bright green so they both looked and sounded magic charging on together. I couldn't catch the bug*er but he couldn't lose me either. What a laugh with two 50+ year olds ragging the t*ts off their bikes like a couple of teenage hooligans.
I would certainly consider one of those Ducatis if one came up before I get too old to enjoy it ,though I would need to get rid of one of the current bunch as no room left in the garage lol. I am quite jealous.
