ok, question time for LC2 buffs... Is this brake line run correct? It feels intuitively wrong to me to sweep behind the fork leg as it could get trapped between the fork and the tank... I would think that this should run forwards and not back round the fork tube. So what is going on here? I tried to fit the hose forwards on the splitter but there isnt enough gap as it would hit the headlight/dash bracket... So it had to go further back (which means the tab works as it should to hold the hose) which then means this hose run. weird. This is actually a NOS OEM hose, so i know thats the not the issue... the splitter is a 47x tho. is the OEM LC2 splitter actually different to the 47X? I ask as the LC ones I have are dimensionally the same as the 47X, or at least I thought. so The only thing I can think of is that I haven't fitted any spacers between the bottom of the headlight bracket and the lower triple as I remember discussions where people said they were not fitted when new and were a parts book 'ghost'... maybe that info was wrong? If the bottom was spaced out this hose would fit between the bracket and the tab on the splitter...

Not too clear but looks like it runs in front of the fork leg. OEB

Thank Nigel, looks like it runs on the headlight side of the bracket as well.
So... im going to need to space the bracket I guess?

Jon, there aren’t any spacers (22 on the diagram) the bracket bolts directly onto the bottom yoke. The brake hose goes outside - in front of the fork then behind the headlight bowl, I’m sure Steve will have a picture in his archives.

Thanks guys!
So, Steve, does it also go down the headlight side of the bracket and then go in between the bracket and the tab on the splitter? There isnt much room in there... hmm....

Can't find a detailed pic These are the best I can find at the moment We're from a 4k mile bike that hadn't been taken apart Steve

Thanks Steve! Looks like the brake hose stayed on when the bracket came off. I'll have to have another look at that whole area as maybe I missed something obvious in how it threads in.

Found one from the front As you say the bracket came off without disturbing the hose Unfortunately that how I got the bike but it must only go one way with the hose in that position Steve
