Hello All,
I've finally decided to get my finger out out and finish my LC (1981 4L0) before April.
Can anyone tell me what these exhausts are? I was told they were Swarbricks when I bought it 12 years ago but apparently after sending pics to Mr Swarbrick and several other other people they aren't.
I was originally going to put it back to standard but decided to keep the ported barrels/ skimmed head and pipes but would like to get the jetting somewhere near right from the off.
Thanks.

Matt I don’t think they are. Look at the downpipe flange. Gibson’s have a much deeper flange. Also they have a second diffuser. Lastly they have a centre stand bracket for the rubber buffer. Jon

I've no idea, but I have a set of KR-1s Nikkons, and the hanger brackets look very similar to these.(these do look nicer/better made though) End cans have probably been replaced at some point over the years at a guess. It's the sliced down end can mounts that might help ID'ing them.

Jon Jon if you look at the angled tail pieces ,the 2 bolt cans and the flat edges where they bolt on I think they are 🤔

I had a set of DG's from the US that where very similar, the welding, the bracket and the front flange reminds me of them.
I was a while back though....

I sent a picture to Swarbrick who said they aren't theirs, will fire a picture of to Gibsons and see if they recognise them.
Thanks for all the help.

Look like swarbricks to me too with different end cans, but if they say not theirs, then I'm stumped

What would be a sensible jet set-up with ported barrels and skimmed head?

I’d of taken a punt at Swarbrick had they not of denied they were theirs? Jon

I just re-read the mail from Mr. Swarbrick and he said he didn't think the pipes were his and the end-cans certainly weren't but if I could send better pics he'd have another look.
I was away from home at the time and couldn't get better pics so just assumed they weren't. I think the end cans confused the issue and my crap memory forgetting to send more pictures didn't help.
Anyway we seem to be there now. Again, thanks for the help.

Just had confirmation from Dave Swarbrick after sending better pics that the pipes are his (road tune) with unknown end cans.
