I always use Chemical Metal by Plastic Padding in the yellow metal tins.
It's a nice consistency to fill with and resistant to most things, including fuel.

Hi it’s for deep scratches on top of my front master cylinder lid and switch gears.

They aren't a big surface area part so you may well be better off just using a knifing or fine fill putty
New master cylinder lids are available for not much money too, maybe worth a look, by the time you've stripped off all the old paint, cleaned the area filled, sanded, repeat and then etch primed and painted, may not be worth the hassle, the master lid generally has a lot of markings/writing moulded/cut into it that may be problematic in not filling with the putty or metal filler, it would be a lot of work to hoke the putty out of those
Certainly a different story if you are doing a side cover which are worth a bit more

If its going to be for aesthetics and not going to be oil tight, I would suggest plastic padding.
