(especially the infills) and place outside your property on recycle day. The binpersons will know exactly how to deal with it all. Unless one of em is really off his/her box and decides to use it .. (especially the infills) I'd keep the bellypan though

Like many things in life, an LC is best experienced naked.

I have one, got it painted to match. Fitted it for roughly 5 mins. Now in a box. Just doesn’t look right.

I wonder, if Yamaha had fitted these to their bikes from day one, would many still say that it doesn't look right? I am kinda on the fence looks wise but from a practical point of view I'd like to try that screen again,....does it help much with the wind blast, can I tuck down behind it much?

Strangely enough, never saw one fitted to a proddy racer. They were a Yamaha part but don't know if they were allowed?? Only seen them on pro am series bikes.

I would... Ive always thought it was an age thing. If youre of an age where you grew up on 70s bikes with fairings by powerbronze and others and loved 70s bike racing then maybe these bolt ons look right, but to me being more of an 80s guy I dont like that look. Its each to his own, but they do seem to be a marmite product.

I'm an 80 's guy too, sure I started off on naked bikes but soon moved to fairings etc. The whole concept/design of molding in indicators and mirrors caught my eye, if done right from the start. Obviously the screen for the 4LO were a bit of an afterthought shall we say.

It is what it is but IMO there’s a conflict between the sat up riding position and a ‘sports’ fairing... If they asked the ‘youf’ back then we have said drop the bars a bit take 1/2 inch out the seat foam , add rearset and THEN profile a clock bubble to give best of both worlds. A clean naked look plus an effective bit of areo. Would be 3 inches lower or something.
I guess they did in the end and called it the LC2 !

I am kinda on the fence looks wise but from a practical point of view I'd like to try that screen again,....does it help much with the wind blast, can I tuck down behind it much? Yes it helps on the track a lot and off course on Die Autobahn. My bikini screen is a bit higher so easier to tuck in.

Thanks, I have a 4LO though so the whole rider's position maybe some what different from the start? Probably not much in it.

The riding position between the 4LO and the 31k isn't massively different practically the same bars, and footrest position isn't radically different, the 31k screen/fairing is lower than the pro am one
