Thanks guys. No garage queens there. All get ridden. Not as much as I like to, but they get out.

Little more progress, Still waiting on the shock, Taking the piss now!! I cant fit any of the exhausts without the shock, Exhausts have to be removed to get to the shock bolts... Anyway, Wiring is all sorted, bits and pieces needed to be soldered, Missing a couple of blocks that I salvaged from old junk harnesses. Clocks fitted, Clocks have been fully stripped and cleaned and the needles repainted as they were white,, Oil tank and tool tray fitted, I also fitted new Carbon valves and billet covers, Billet clutch cover etc, High capacity rad fitted with silicone hoses, Bunch of other little crappy things, Getting there, Kinda stopped now till I get the exhausts on and its ready to fire up...

Question is that the original place for the battery? Does it overheats?

Loving those clocks. Were they white as standard? Alex Yep, original faces all cleaned up, The needles are painted with Gun Sight paint, very close to the original colour and sun resistant, They look a bit brighter in the pic from the flash..

Damn Bike, DAMN SHOCK!!!!!!! It arrived, Ordered first week of November, Not the shock I wanted, but it'll do the job, Fitted the shock, fitted the pipes at last, finished off the cooling system and filled it, Bunch of other bits n pieces, New gear oil, Bled the 2-stroke pump, put in a gallon of 50:1 premix. 4-5 kicks and she spluttered, next kick away she went, running on 2 cylinders, Bastid, Knocked her off, petrol pissing from the carbs, I forgot to tighten the drain screws, Bleedin idiot!!!!! Fired her up again and all good, running like a champ, Idles nice, takes the throttle perfectly, Very happy Fitted the back end bodywork, Lot of tweaking of the exhausts and the bodywork to get it all to line up and get the pipes centered on the bodywork, Happy days, Ill leave the fairing off till I get it ran a little in case I have a few problems... i.imgur.com/aeGFwQPl.jpg[/limg]

More Progress We have a winner!! Balanced the carbs with the little air thingy tool, Set the idle and open throttle to get them perfect, Fitted the gear changer, fairing panels, mirrors and a few other tweaks, I bought a Chinese Brembo master cylinder and had it fitted and it looked perfect and worked perfect, BUT!!! f**k it, The one place we shouldn't cut corners in the brakes, So I splashed out and picked up a proper Brembo master and fitted it, Looks almost identical, They have it down to an art....... Took her out for her first spin, Gentle, feel her out, Everything felt good, pulled over in a mile or so and let it Idle, Nothing dripping or leaking, Headed off for a 22 mile spin, All good, I love the handling with the 17" rims, its just a better bike that the stock bike with the ride height and XJR front end, solid in high speed corners, Just really nice, Brakes are unreal, They will stop this thing on a penny, Unreal, Full Brembo discs, calipers and master cylinder, The best, Now on to fix an oil leak on the Red/Black 500, shift arm seal is leaking, Then fix the gearbox in the other RG500 and get that finished.....
