put autisa kit on my 125lc with dt175 piston in i took 2 mm of the bottom of the barrel and got a bit keen and took 1.5 mm of the top and had to use a 2mm copper head gasket to make up the squish to between 1.2mm - 1.3mm i took it out for a spin and it was lovely to ride until 7k rpm and it started pinking.
The problem iv got is there isnt enough volume my head measures 14cc volume to the top of the sparkplug hole and on a flat surface it measures 16cc.
could someone please tell me the standard volume of the head on a std 125lc mk2/1 so i can work out the difference im running 68mm bore now so its last chance for me,
Tom

haha dont worry guys iv sorted it with a bit of head scratching my barrell + head 181.5cc (bdc volume) / 14cc (tdc volume) = 12.9 std rd125lc 123cc (bdc volume) / (tdc volume) =6.4 19 i kept putting numbers in place of to try and find the correct volume of a 125lc, as far as i can tell a std 125lc has a tdc volume of 19cc is this correct ? then 19(std 125lc tdc volume) / 123cc (std 125lc bdc volume) = 0.1544 0.1544 * 181.5(autisa 181.5cc bdc volume) = 28cc what i think should be my correct tdc volume..........i stand to be corrected ?
