Evening men. I need to remove the old RTV Sealer from my chrome allspeed mounting flange etc so I can refit it. Anyone recommend the best thing to remove it that won't ruin the chrome? Ie wd40?thinners? White spirit?π€ Thanksππ

There is a silicone sealant remover available for bathroom sealant in the UK. I know as I used it there and struggled to get it here lol.
Check the ingredients list or email / phone the importer/supplier and check its chrome safe. But i would think it would be, lots of bathroom fittings are chrome...

Hi , was with a mate of mine some weeks back and he was talking to a chap who gave him a tip about removing silicone from a ceramic shower basin . He said he uses the gritty hand cleaning wipes .
