Lads, For the 4th year in a row Carole Nash have increased my premium by £85, I then ring to cancel and go through the rigmarole of “i’ll ask my supervisor” etc, and they knock £50 off. Now I know they have to make money, insurance premiums are up 10% etc, but I’m an old fart, with full no claims, mileage limited to 1000 per bike, live in an ok area, secure/alarmed garage so why the 30% increases year on year???.
Any recommendations for a decent company that accommodates multiple bikes?.
Thanks in advance, bezzer.

Carole Nash have certainly got worse since she sold the business, they seem to like putting you with Markerstudy which going by the reviews is one of the worse underwriters, they certainly don't cover a bike from damage or theft if it happens to be on your drive rather than in the garage at ANY time of the day.
I'm kind of in the same boat, don't know who to recommend,...not sure about these multiple bike policies, what's the catch? Will they do one that covers a modern and classic bike??

Hello , I've got 7 bikes on a classic multi bike insurance policy with RH insurance . I was with Peter James , but like you , every year they just increased their prices. I've never claimed from them so cannot comment on how good they are if you make a claim , but they are really good to deal with and as it's a classic policy you also get breakdown cover and agreed values in the standard policy. As I've got so many bikes , I just scanned my renewal docs , and e-mailed them for a quote , it saved hanging on the phone for 30 minutes going though every detail of every mod . It always pays to shop around every year. Mike

Markerstudy policies are sold by a lot of brokers including Peter James as they are competitive. I have dealt with Markerstudy this year when an someone ran into the back of me & wrote my bike off. They are a dam sight easier to deal with the dishonest bunch at Bennetts who sold me the policy, Markerstudy settled the claim in a timely manner without trying to throw me under the bus with 4th Dimension & Minster Law. I know for a fact Minster Law have illegally past on my details to third party ambulance chasing firms, my complaint is currently ongoing.

Hi Mate, Thanks for your response, Sorry to hear of your accident, I hope it is resolved to your satisfaction. Seems you’ve had a better experience with markerstudy than others, and highlights that even with the ‘big boys’ like Bennett’s you should be cautious.
