Couple of points that spring to mind although it does seem harsh
To have noticed him in the middle lane for 3 miles They must have been behind him so not empty
Secondly if it was empty why sit out there ya t**t.
Also sounds like he had an attitude that changed it from a spot check into a f*ck you yer getting done
And your next point on the lorries, that gets right on my tits
Worse when on a single carriageway an overtaking lane comes up and 2 lorries battle the whole length of it then still sit 6 feet a feckin part just in the other order
🤬🤬🤬🤬

Good... £100 isn't enough though. Should ban the fecker for 6 months too!😉

gets my goat totally as well, should have fined him more and dished out a bunch of points IMHO. This weekend I drove for 6 hours and saw trucks refuse to use the slow lane on hills and instead sit in the middle lane. w#*#ers.

That law is all very well but how do the cops view things when the road is heavy with traffic I wonder?
Take the M25 for example, nearside is packed with lorries, I'm in the middle lane doing 70 yet I'd be expected to move over at some point. Thing is, there's just too many vehicles on the road nowadays, they probably couldn't all fit into lane 1 during certain times of the day.

Completely understand why he has been done, however I wonder what Kent Polices record for attending and detecting crime is like? I know that rpu road policing units job is to deal with motoring offences and occasionally they will stop travelling criminals but when resources are spread so thin and the majority of burglary dwelling are no longer attended by uniform and certainly not by cid, what has the greater impact on the average citizens? Someone driving in the middle lane or a couple of bag heads screwing your home?

I understand why he got nicked. It's even worse when the muppets do this in lane 3. That really pisses me off. But yes, go catch some criminals, not someone who is probably a bit scared of a motorway...that's the reason most of them sit in the middle lane.
Alex
ps they never caught the b*****ds who stole my RS250. Or my mountain bike. Or my telly. Or my car.
