650 6t pre unit motor check, rickman frame? Check, hit every branch of the ugly tree on the way down oh yes.

Don’t think that is a Rickman frame. Looks like a BSA A10 chrome or nickel plated. Triumph pre unit motor though. Straight out of Cheech and Chong with that velour seat. Top “ahem” workmanship with quality tools. You can see the Snap On table knife among the screwdrivers on the floor. Could be a good candidate for “take his tools away” Still, each to his own though 🤪 John

I did wonder about the frame hence ? New it wasn’t a triumph having owned a few bonnies, it’s also single carb head, thought the A10 was slightly different but I think it’s a bsa rear hub? Whatever it is it feckin rank

Sadly I have now seen this and it's firmly embedded in my memory. Good thing is every time I learn something new, something else gets shoved out of my brain so I shall consult a botlle of Merlot...

Regardless of the major modifications, one simple one I quite like is the indicators (late YPVS?). The LC rear subframe on my latest build has had the usual mod of removing the indicator stalks. Rather than repair back to standard and use LC indicators, this might be a nice option. Jon

Jon I like the way he has used the standard LC stator case on the YPVS engine.....I remember asking in a post a while back could this work but nobody having a solution ? ZiG

Is the chain meant to be like that?? Alex Probably, take a look at the line between front sprocket swing arm pivot and rear wheel spindle. I think the angle of the rear shock looks extreme.
