Well it looks like Koyo have stopped doing the bearing for out cranks . so its Tai bearings only now . Lucky i have a reasonable stock for a few more of my cranks but then they will be no more . The tai ones you can get now are Ok not like 20 years back but do like to use jap if possible but like it or not if you cant get them you cant get them simple as that .

I don't think it's such a problem if you know the right engineers.

What about gearbox bearings Norbo. Will they still be available from Koyo?

No problem getting proper Japanese Nachi bearings here. Koyo certainly sounds better than Notchy, tho, that’s for sure

I guess Yam will still supply Koyos as OEMs as they can meet the MOQ, but hearing you Norbo, your £14 each is a lot cheaper than any Yam dealer.

Any quality bearing manufacturer will do as long as it is 6305 C3 clearance Id prefer SKF as it can handle more rpm and load than most.
