I am getting my 125 paintwork back this week. Any tips for rinsing the tank just in case there is any dust in there? Or is it a case of just run water through it?

Id swill it out with some white spirit then let it dry out on a hot day.

A decent painter would normally seal up the petrol cap and the fuel tap openings before doing any prep and painting to prevent dust and overspray, so worth checking with him first.

Guess what. Spoke to him this morning as it's ready to collect. He masked all holes off๐๐

You should never paint a tank all the way around the lip anyway.
It should be cut back to allow the rubber of the petrol tap to seal on bare metal.
Otherwise petrol gets under the paint and lifts it.
