Hi mate just asking is your handle bar fairing original or pattern .The reason I ask is I have a norbo paternities fairing and having probs getting it to fit nice around the headlight. The main problem is the pivot bracket on the bottom, the only way I can get it anywhere near is to put the bracket on the outside of the fairing, and I can see from your pics yours is on the inside thanks Michael

Should be pattern fairing Hi The nose cone is one of Norbo’s fibreglass ones with his stainless fitting kits. Took a little bit of fettling to get the fit right but it wasn’t too much effort. It is always the same with aftermarket parts though so a little effort is usually in order. I also trawled through dozens of build threads to see which way the bottom bracket fitted before getting the files and Dremel out. I would suggest getting the fit right before painting 😉 John

Great thread his, thanks. Just re-read from start as inspiration for my own build. Some great points made and I will be referencing this again over the next few months during my own 31k build. I had already decided to go white/blue, and re-reading your thread has convinced me even more. Which painter did you use? Thanks for your kind words Shaun. Same as yourself I was inspired by some of the top builds on here by the usual suspects and thought I would share by own efforts. I love the French blue scheme and took the inspiration from Mouse’s lovely hybrid. Norbo supplied the decals and a local painter did the painting for me. Unfortunately he is no longer painting as his landlord stuffed him for the rent and he cannot get another place. He has taken a job now which is a pity as I need a painter for my LC build (going for white with red speed blocks this time). When I find a decent and reasonable painter I will share with the troops. John
