Looking good mate Chassis rail on show would be my choice. If the top edge of the fairing follows the line of the top chassis rail, as in your photoshopped pic, I think that would look great, and very bespoke for the build. It's a lovely chassis, and I would want to see as much of it as possible . Dusty

About showing the rails of the frame. Who has to b fitted with his racinggear and knee sliders? Form follows functionality? And i like the rubber fetish livery๐

I tend to agree with Marrcel first functionality then form. Luckily the painter I will use is always doing track days and I know if he spots something wrong he will let me know.
One other thing I also forgot to mention it won't be cut so deep where the bars sit. I have ordered a standard 5KE top part which means I will have to be creative with the ram air holes in the front.
I will also test ride it before it gets painted.

Thanks for all the positive comments men.
I'm surprised that no one preferred the fairing complete.

The paint scheme made me smile. After all it is super light. Frame rail showing for me.

Due to work i haven't really been able to progress with my bike. I have however received my offset sprocket from VVM racing and at 72 euros i am very happy with the price. The coloured metal is due to the hardening process. I have been busy for just over a year to try and get a dry clutch sorted. Below is a picture of the clutch although it still needs a little tweeking.

can I ask please whats the benefit of a dry clutch (as I know best part of nothing) good to see you have found some time for this stunning build mart

Theres lots to read on the subject and there's lots of pro's which seem minuscule in my opinion except for the fact your oil doesn't fill up with clutch plate debris. Also there are some big cons such as noise and dramitcally increased plate wear. I have done it for two reasons. Hopefully (with my fingers and toes crossed) less plates and lighter clutch action due to no oil trying to make the plates slippy. I really hate gorilla grip clutch actions. Easier access to the clutch. I was also thinking it wouldn't protrude so far out as the standard casing. Hmm that didn't work

As a multiple former Ducati owner nothing beats a clutch rattle it just says speed and exclusivity ๐

I've got a vid somewhere of my 900SS running, and you can hear the clutch rattling over the sound of the Ducati performance pipes !! They do make a racket !! Clutch looks great Toby - adjustment doesn't get any easier than that Dusty

They do rattle, especially when exposed!
The first one I heard was on a VJ23 RGV250. Lovely!

Maybe the best solution for the rattling is is full throttle and a quick shifter

Just a small update. I've change the top part of the fairing for a standard TZ fairing which makes it look a bit better but I'm still struggling with the look. I think i have to adjust it some more.
Since a friend made two photoshop paint designs i know what i want. Lots of people tend to make replica's of there favourite bike's in the classic colours and schemes. After seeing the Durex scheme i realised that i want it to be a nod to the mid 90's 2 stroke race bike design and i want it to be painted as if it's a sponsored race team not a big factory colour scheme. I will make up a fake racing team name. I just hope i haven't put it in a box by using the TZ fairing.
The search is on for a fast angry looking Tobyjug graphic to use as a racing emblem.

Good idea, I like the Durex scheme, much more cohesive than the others.

Could you shorten your racing team name to Jugs Racing...then you could have a nice pair of jugs on your paintwork??? Maybe Athena or some other brand??? ;-)
