Just overhauled my two callipers and wanted to renew the accessories. I ordered SS bleed vents (sorry...nipples) not thinking there are different sizes. Obviously the larger one didn't fit too well.
Here is the first bleed vent. It's 0.1mm wider than the other and has a smaller bleed hole. It's also got a flat nose.
Here's the second, thinner vent with a pointy nose.
I realise it might not make a blind bit of difference, but when I bled the air through a tube it was still leaking even though I'd done with the torquing. Obviously I might have been able to continue but where would that leave my threads?
I hope you can see the photos - I can't!

Some after market bleed nipples are poorly made and do not seal well. What's wrong with the old one?
