Was this shortly before it seized, the oil light's on, lol. Have you still got it and what does it look like if you have?

Back in ’89 I lived in a ground-floor flat in Deptford, just right for convenient inside next to the kitchen motorcycle mechanichery.

I can see how you could build a bike frame up on a workmate but with engine and all else on seems no way to get it off that ....with a few mates carry it maybe?

Up above the excellent workmate you'll see a stout beam, attached pulleys and rope to it, affixed another pulley at the LC end, took up the slack, mechanical advantage enabled the easy rising raising of Elsie enough for the workmate to be slid out of the way, motorcycle then lowered gently to the floor ... wheeled straight out of the front door, petrol'ed, ignition on ... and, great joy, started first kick !
