The muddy off my 350LC looks more like a flat cap than the muddy I see on photos which are much longer. I was also surprised to look the other day at an old photo of a young me, (with hair and no belly) and my then LC, with exactly the same type.
Here is a snap of mine now:

Question: what is this muddy off and I'm assuming like so many other parts it's either a PV or maybe even a 125 LC? The next question is about resto - what abrasives and primer would you recommend for this and exactly what type of plastic is the muddy made of - ABS?

Looks like a standard mudguard that's had the front and rear bits chopped off, a YPVS one doesn't have matching triangular 'holes'
Yes think most plastics are also ABS, could try your local paint suppliers for advice

Definitely a standard Lc one that has been cut down.

Thanks all, that def seems to be the consensus. I wonder why? As I said above. my earlier LC from the 90s also had this flat one, which I think looks really silly sat there on top of the wheel. Anyway, each to their own.
