I could be wrong, but I was always told as an apprentice that the difference between a machine screw and a bolt, is purely down to the fact a screw is threaded to the head, and a bolt has a shouldered bit; irrespective of head type. Jon

I’ve got the same problem, so revived this thread.
I’m using fibre washers the steel the cap head screws.
I wouldn’t say pissing, more a slight weep.
Now I’ve gone very gingerly tightening the screws so this may be the problem.
I also have copper and nylon washers so may try them.
I think I’ll try a little sealant on the screws first.
