We need a picture as many were made
Early are same as 31k so lc2 and f1
Later is like the n2
Latest ones were 3hm1 which was like a mixture of n2 and similar running gear to fzr

Something not quite right, if those are the correct numbers? maybe they've been misread.
Wouldn't the engine also be a pre-production one, with its number being that low?

Welcome to the forum. Good news is lots of parts, new and used, standard and bling, are available. And this forum is the fount of all knowledge for these bikes, so that's good too. Building them isn't cheap, but nothing in life worthwhile ever is. Just don't tell the missus how much it costs - that's rule no.1 !! Good luck Dusty

Once you have 10 posts you can look in the wanted and for sale section, Norbo sells a lot of new stuff aswell, all so Fowler’s.

Lots of forum members have spares stashed away, so as Jess said, 10 posts will allow you to access the classifieds section. The Wanted section of the classifieds often links people to parts - better than ebay Dusty

If you download a microfiche off the net you can use the part numbers on the Fowlers site to make life easier. Lots of parts are still available from Yamaha for Lc's and pv's. Dusty

Yeah, Fowlers. Norbo also stocks lots of genuine, new Yam parts - always worth asking him what he's got if you don't see it on his shop page. I bought a new Yam temp sender from him and it was half the price of Fowlers Dusty
