I know these hybrids cause a bit of a debate on how they look, how they ride and why muck about with an original bike/design. But OMG they do look fantastic, just wish I had the skill, patience and spare Wonga to build one. Absolutely superb workmanship, now stop teasing and give us some more proper pictures outside. Rich.

Did you have to slice the "runner off" the top of the chain rubber in the end ?

My RD will be retiring and be put out to pasture with only road trips Copy away The bike won't be mine long anyway 😁 From memory the bullet connectors are too small so I swapped them for the correct ones (I think 🧐) I also fitted some heat shrink over the wires to tidy them up Rear wiring too short too, I made a small loom to extend but could have been sorted soldering extensions on while changing the bullets Steve

Had it out for a quick road test, only did about a mile and a half but obvious it needs bigger pilots as really boggy. Needs choke to pull low down. Got 45's on the way 😀 Steve

Steve that really is a beautiful job, should think you will be sad to she her go? ATB Mouse Thanks, I'm pleased how it turned out considering the disastrous start to this project. I'm always the same, as soon as I'm getting to the end planning the next one takes over me. As it was always for someone else I'm used to the idea of it going. Steve

Looks really good ,what’s next? Cheers Stu Got the spoked wheel lc2 hybrid to carry on with. Been gathering the parts for about a year now Also need to get the 3hm1 legal. Not doing a full strip job but need to get the forks chromed and the wheel and swing arm painted Contacted Yam yesterday for the dating letter which is the first hurdle. Got standard bodywork now too and frame lugs welded back on 😁 Steve

What an stunning build. Still amazes me how you all come up with so many ways of making your bikes different. And if that isn't enough, you do it over and over again!!! I really want to get mine sorted and on the road again but reading the builds on here make me want to take my time and get everything right rather than 'making do' with something to save time / money as is usually the case with anything i do. Inspirational.

Awesome Steve. Looks really fresh.
Like to know how it goes and handles once you have the jetting under control.

Awesome Steve. Looks really fresh. Like to know how it goes and handles once you have the jetting under control. The 45's sorted it. Just very slight bog trying to pull under 2k but that's to be expected with pods It was built for a mate of a mate so happy languishing at his now Steve
