Is it worth suffering a crap ride ( not that there is such a thing on a 2 stroke ) Someone on meantioned next year may have to pay as stupid rule from TFL on charging old bikes to go into town !!!!

Where you coming in from?
SHOULD be 5-6 of us coming down from Northants /Milton Keynes/ Hemel way, not via the M1 until the last few miles.
Believe me, if the weather is OK, it will be rammed and well worth the trip, seen some stuff at the ace you dont see anywhere else, have a look at the pics from previous years on the relevant section.
New charges relate to central London and as you say, are for next year anyway..

If the weather behaves then the turnout is like the breakfast, always excellent, not dear for London prices either. As for the restrictions from what I’ve read for the North side of London the proposed boundary will be the A406 North Circular Road, if so the Ace sits right on the edge of the "old" A406, the new ones is about 200yds away so shouldn’t be affected

Ok I’m 50/50 now I’m coming off a night shift so can’t leave too early. Could probably get there for midday, is it a morning or all day affair ?

I've been a couple of times - really good turn out if the weather is good, which I think it is forecast to be ( at the mo !!) I did find that most of the crowd are there in the morning - it thinned out a lot by lunchtime both times I've been. That's my experience of it and haven't been there in the afternoon to be fair. Lots of bikes turn up in groups so when a few groups leave it empties out quite quickly. I would go but am off to the MCN bike show at Peterborough. Dusty

Dusty I use to live half an hour away from the Ace so have been there many times over the years, I agree that most day events seem to thin out after lunchtime.

Hi all,
Do you just park up anywhere, or is there a favoured spot for forum members?
