Haha! Oh she'll stop alright. I do intend to upgrade the engine. A YB100 will slot straight in but maybe further down the line and with a few tweaks an RD125 or 200 lump might squeeze in...

The brake pedal turned up. Thanks again Dave it's most appreciated! A tad rusty but seen a LOT worse and made a start... Cleaned it up with my Dremel than let it have a soak in phosphoric acid...and bingo! I want to get this powder coated as any paint would soon wear off but seeing everywhere is shut I'll spray it in alluminium for now. Alex

If you can find a plater open then get it plated, it will come up like new then.

Oddly places like that aren't considered essential Jon!

Oddly places like that aren't considered essential Jon! Alex They actually are I sent hubs off a few weeks ago to Hagon to get rims laced on The rims were to be anodised silver to make them less blingy and add a bit of corrosion resistance I emailed today just to check as I expected them to say the anodising company was shut so I was going to say stuff it bare alloy will do To my surprise they said they will be anodised by the end off the week. The delay was down to them having an influx of work doing ventilator parts A lot of plating places do anodising too... Anyway keep up the good work. And as it's just a brake pedal it's easy to paint just now and sort later if the finish goes Steve

Thanks Steve. I just need to paint it so it doesn't rust again. I'll need to use it on the shakedown run when the bike is ready to ride. Eventually it will get plated!
