So as the title says, anybody know the differences between VJ22 and VJ23 forks/ front ends. I have got VJ23 forks, VJ22 yokes with a AJJ code front wheel. My problem is that I just fitted the front wheel and something is wrong. (see picture below) I know the 23 doesn't have a speedo drive but my wheel does, mind you I may not use it yet. then the 23 has a nut to go into fork for the spindle and not a threaded fork. I have a TYGA alloy spacer set and have fitted the wheel centre one. FKWFGJMaScOaloBOO4r0zw by Philip Millard, on Flickr Could somebody measure their 22 wheel spacer so I can make sure the problem isn't that, also if possible measure the length of the larger part of wheel spindle. I am using a new VJ23 item. Thanks, Phil

It's the same wheel on a VJ22 as a VJ23. Using VJ22 yokes means the VJ23 spacers are wrong and the VJ22 axle wont fit the forks (as you say). You need a VJ23 axle and make the appropriate spacers to make it fit VJ22 yokes

Cheers, I guess its just a shorter spacer. does the spindle sit flush with hex head just proud? I have the VJ23 spindle already. So VJ23 forks have wider spacing then.

Are you sure, I thought the 'spokes' on a 23 were straighter, wheel probably fits the same, but that spacer in the pic does look too long. Does the spindle go through the spacer or is it too narrow?

Isn't that inside the fork leg? I cant tell from the pic. Could anybody tell me the length of the larger portion of the 22 spindle. It looks similar to my 23 one. but then it would stick out like mine. I can get a new spacer made up easy enough.
