Why not fit a button head hex bolt, going in from the swingarm side - that will reduce the height of the nut and overlong bolt you currently have ? Or space your main hanger off the frame a touch more ? Dusty

Dusty The main hanger is symmetrical to the other hanger, would mess with my OCD! 😂 I like the looks of the hex head on the outside, I’ll just make 3 spacers to ensure it misses. Will sort tonight, just keep taking pictures as I go and uploading so people can see things in real-time. It’s easy to just show things done as if no problems are hit.

The footrest isnt foldable for using the kickstart. I lost to many skin on my right leg. 😤 So i am curious how does your kickstart line up with the footrest?

Hi Russ not sure how it would look, but I have a suggestion for your rear master cylinder alignment.
Mount a shim on the top fixing hole between master cylinder and fixing plate. This will cause the top of the cylinder to move towards the wheel and the bottom part to move away from the swing arm.

Argh my OCD! 😂 I’ll sort this tonight when I get back in the cave with 3 spacers 👍🏻

Measured and ordered the cables, trying this for hydraulic clutch. Ordered a bleed nipple bolt, currently pulls about 10mm, didn’t test with cable, any idea’s how much a cable pulls? There’s half a lever before it starts to move so hopefully when fully bled I’ll get more movement.

Prototype billet headlight bracket sorted, now it’s time to get it apart and get it built for real. Might be a while for an update. Can’t upload pics, gone over Tapatalk limit.

Quick update, current mood beer, everything at powder coaters, side stand off to have nipple for spring moved, £200 tyres ordered avon storm 3D. Discs, rear sprocket, clocks cases and headlight bucket gone for wet paint. Need to nip to Barnsley to get the ohlins juiced and gassed. Tidied man cave ready for it coming back. Bagged and tagged all the bits ready to throw back on. Off to platers tomorrow to get some stuff done in yellow passivate. Just need mutts to come up trumps with the side case as hopefully I’ll be ready for it in about 3 weeks then it can have the quick shifter fitted at the same time. And breath, hope the weather holds up for some runs out for people to gasp in horror at me ruining yet another classic!

Mick Gardner Racing at Barnsley, dropped these off Friday and picked up today, had him check my work and juice them up and fill with nitrogen. £120 all in. So they stand me at around £320 finished. Can’t argue with that as they’re about £1300 to buy.

Arm back from Metmachex swingarms. Bits cut off, holes welded up and polished. Can’t grumble.

Nice...... which wheels going in? Looks like ones yellow and the other style is gold? Or are you going multi coloured with this bike for a change? 😁
