That looks lovely. Will look even better fitted on the bike.
Every time I think this is on its final leg, more magic happens.
Great stuff Russ

Ive seen a few people polish these and always wondered how well they fit in the yokes after as the OEM finish is ridged which not only helps grip the triples but means they are also a bit fatter. Interested to hear your thoughts.

Interested to hear your thoughts. I’ve had a thou or 2 of to rid the scratches but the trees will be powdercoated to make the difference up, time will tell.

Forks look great I've polished a few now and never had an issue with the yokes gripping the forks, but I've never gone mad with the polishing, so it's only a minute amount we are talking about. Personally, I wouldn't powdercoat the inside face of the yokes to make up any difference. You are asking a coat of paint to become your mating surface between yoke and fork leg - better off getting masked and left bare metal. It will pinch up tighter that way, and not be affected by the paint/powder compressing down. Dusty

Had an hour and started the undertray Exhaust man used the same holes I need so need some longer studded vibration bolts. Wants trimming and bending near the swingarm and 2 tabs welding on to the frame, maybe 4 to tighten it all up to.

What an amazing job you are doing and an absolutely fantastic read. I was hooked from the off.......I did a search for 'the riddler' but nothing comes up. Did u do a thread on the build? Would like to have a read through that aswell.

And she’s off to the welders for some tabs for the undertray to be finished, headlight brackets being made in billet so she’s almost ready for a tear down and the real build to start. Still waiting for a billet clutch case that runs pump with see through cover and lock up clutch, but believe it’s not far off being ready.

Well Bri didn’t like my attempt at a rear master cylinder bracket so whilst he’s had the bike on the ramp he’s making another, well, he’s already on Mk2. See pics, he’s moved it all in toward the frame, it needs a rose joint instead he says. Mk2

Handlebars and levers came so I can now measure for HEL cables. The black bits won’t be black when finished.

Bought a 6mm rose joint and tapped the thread to 8mm Test fit Now to turn up a spacer to replace the washers

Made the spacer Then found it would hit the swinger 🤨 Plan b use old part to space temporarily Add washers for spacing to see what’s what That should work, so 3 spacers required to fit it
