Maybe one of those "special" massages will help your back and get you back on the build pronto. Hope for a quick recovery bud

Would that be a “special” massage with a happy ending 👍

time to say goodbye to the pigeon and also get an x7 done at the same time, painters got 3 in front of me so patience is key now, with Dave out of action it’s going to be a long couple of months waiting, but as the weathers turning it’s time to get the others ridden.

Very slight update, it’s now alive. Going to collect on Friday so hopefully bang a video up. Looking like 77rwbhp and 48lbsft torque. All the power coming in low with the triple low port barrels, max rpm 8200. Think that should be lively through the gears. Engine run in and a few tweaks and 80bhp should be achievable. Given the budget and it being different, I’m extremely happy with those numbers. It will still be on 1 side for the moment as building a new burgervan for the mrs, I’ll kick the paintman up the arse and maybe bang a day a week in on it!

Great low down figures there, what carbs are you running. Look forward to seeing it all finished. Refreshing to see different approach for a hybrid.

Chaps, I’ve put this back on the bench and my insurance for my multi bike policy is due, question to all the hybrid owners, have you changed logbook to 421 etc?

Mine is a 4L1 frame, logbook had already been changed to 350. The Athena barrels are stamped 347 same as stock 350 ones so I just left it as is. All mods declared on insurance though.

Had a couple of hours today making 2 bad sets of clocks into 1 good set. Zero’d genuine uk speedo, new faces and needles. They won’t be staying together as they aren’t staying black. Thanks to Dave Mac for the clocks.

spent a few days playing with CAD to design a rad guard to fit Dave’s big radiator. Off to get 1 laser cut and bent, updates when fitted, fingers crossed.

That’s lovely has it got metal flake in it? It’s meant to be as bling as he could make it, I told him go overboard if you can. Need to get the decals made now. It’s been on the bench waiting for too long. I’ve done all the jobs her indoors wanted doing so now it’s my time to get this done.

Was on holiday when video came through, checked again and he’s painted the wrong front mudguard, luckily as the rear still needs painting all is not lost for him, shame he’s got to paint the one he’s done another colour though.

Advice needed now, it’s on the bench again and I’m buying parts. Need brake and clutch levers, are the 7/8ths ok for gsxr400? Also the brake discs I want wavy, are the rgv 250 1’s the same?

Discs should be the same
I ran gsxr400 calipers and discs on rgv forks/wheel
Well that's what they were sold as from eBay
Think they are both 300mm
