Lads, is it my imagination, or are these things shit? The exhaust wobbles around like mad when fitted. What is one to do? I was thinking about fitting one of the felt gaskets too. On top of that

If it's standard pipes and they wobble when tightened then chances are the rings that go between the flanges and the back of the header pipe
You can use a wire coat hanger to make a ring to fill the groove in the flange

Left hand side tight as can be lovely, but right won’t play ball, have to get a thicker hanger. But this trick works a treat

Slight weep from this, heated washer up red hot, quenched, put back on, perfect. No coolant or oil leaks anywhere. Spent an hour with a torch and feeling everything to be sure
