I totally agree, they need harsher sentences/punishment.

I would hazard a guess, that many of these light fingered moralless persons of ill repute, have never worked in their life and are indeed the product of citizens who have also never worked for a living and consider benefit payments as a wage. Well.. if any of them are involved in nefarious activities, how about removing benefits from the households from whence them came?? There are many of them in my locality.. The place that hurts the most is the pocket and if you don't behave you will be removed from your provided property. We'll see if they like sitting in shop fronts on a freezing night.

Well a slap on the wrist and some community service doesnt stop them and youre still a bike down or trashed and have to fight with the insurance... if its insured. how is that fair? There needs to be a more more 're-education' in the mix to stop them just going out and ruining someone elses day. there will be some "re-education" if I get my hands on any of the thieving scrotes

The problem is their main income is from thievery, the giro is just a top-up, so if you take away the giro they'll just pinch a bit more to make up the shortfall. You could kick them out of council houses, but a lot of them live in caravans anyway.

The scumbag's standard kit is a battery 115mm grinder and a crow bar, basically if they cannot get in with them then they generally but not always move on to easier targets. Look at your locks and think how would I get in if I lost my keys? Try and make so they need to at least have more tools and need to make more noise and take more time, also shoot the c**ts if you catch them.

I know we all go on about gun culture and the gun laws in the US but they at least have some things nearly right
Over here you can't harm or lets say "protect" our property from theives or attackers
I was amazed and surprised the other night watching the crime and investigation channel (I was bored lol)
The case was that a guy had come to some ones house and pushed their way in when they opened the door. A fight started and the homeowner stabbed the guy fatally
The police smelled a rat as they suspected the guy was invited in, an argument started and then the guy got stabbed
As the guy was dead there was no one to prove what happened
They were told to drop the charge as in America if some one forcefully enters your property you are allowed to kill them
Not saying that's the way to go but a bit of electrocution seems fair 😁
(The guy got done for it in the end because of other evidence. The clincher being while the homeowner was fighting for his life with the attacker who only had a pen knife he was able to go to the kitchen, get a big knife out the drawer and return to the room to stab him)

I worked in Texas years ago and was over at my bosses house, and we were talking to his neighbours (bloke and his wife, both coppers). My boss and his neighbour said that whenever they go on holiday they instruct each other to watch over their respective properties and shoot anyone that they see stealing or breaking in. Apparently if you have permission from the home owner it's legal to use deadly force to protect the property.
I'm not sure I'm in favour of that or not, but the situation in the UK with theft is way out of control, I spend most of my time abroad these days and when I come back to the UK it's always a massive drag having to take precautions to avoid theft, I daren't leave my bikes parked up anywhere, or leave anything inside my car if it's parked up in towns.
