Awesome Mark. This is an amazing build and the bike is looking fantastic. You also have the nicest workshop I have seen in a long time Totally lost in the technical side of porting and stroking the motors etc but love the fabrication work. That radiator is a piece of art mate, what a job. Really looking forward to this evolving John Mate my garage is full of other things and can get messy and dusty as times.. So only one thing for it was to bring her indoors, Her indoors isn't too keen tho.. But it's warm, Dry and fairly dust free...

going to be 3 bar/stripe decal set but not 100% set on colour/shade layout yet.. Mainly Black, Graphite, Grey.. possibly with some chrome but have been warned against due to the fragility of the chrome vinyl..

Fabulous, dk grey black and silvers will look amazing. Pity you can’t get chrome effect as that would also look fab esp if it was the pin stripe and Yamaha decal.

Mark probably missed this but you can get a range of paints that for all intents look exactly like chrome, so if you had the stripes painted not graphics it would work.

Been away for a while due to work and other projects getting in the way... Nothing really has been done to the bike at all but Hopefully i will be able to collect the engine from the builder sometime this week so i may be able to progress with this project in a few weeks time... Funds have taken a hit with the motor rebuild/Christmas and a trip we were meant no go on being cancelled by EasyJet and storm Cirara meaning we lost around £800 in hotel payments as we Lastminute.com'd and didn't take out insurance!! DOH!!! That could have been a nice paint job... :-(
Hopefully this OLD/Long thread with have something interesting very soon...
Main Jobs to do. Get new tank Paint job New exhaust system Carbs/filters etc Couple of rear brake hoses.. Seat base recovered

Hot Rods +4 crank, Machined cases for crank, Barrels Matched to cases, WSM forged pistons, Stage 2 tune on the barrels, Dowl peg'd head, HD clutch and clutch basket, New bearing and seals obviously, One new selector due to slightly bent one, ypvs reeds etc, I think John said we have 7.71-1 comp ratio, around the 400cc

Bolts on the clutch window and inlet manifolds will be replaced to match the others already fitted to the bike along with the horrible jubilee clamps.
