Last night some one came to my house and stole mt F2 Special and a 350lc that i was holding for midlifecrisis .CRIME NUMBER 187-25 11 2017 if you do see anything dont hesatat to ring 101 and give them this number It was my yellow Kenny Roberts street fighter . It must have been a customer that has been to my house thats so sad but it will be someone who has been round my house before . The parts on it are pretty specialized ill post a picture if you see any parts the parts come up for sale in E-Bay please let me know This bike can never be riden or sold it has to be broke and the parts sold of . So PLEASE keep an eyw on e-bay and other selling sights for any trick looking ypvs parts and some that may not look that rick sutch as Lock up clutch and the water pump cover if you look you wont fined any other bikes with this water cover on so its very noticeable and stands out as being different Koso clocks Carbon headlight bowl special head light with about 10 led lights at the bottom you can see it in the picker that has me in it billet manifold PWK 28mm carbs large rad with trick looking st/st rad grill cover Cool head the fat bars the front and back ends RGV not the powder coated blue wheels Lomas race pipes with the F2 racing end can snickers on it an F2 tank possibly with the TZ tap still on on even if the paint is striped of it stands out and it has a brand new filler cap on it the fireblade seat unit Engine parts barrels etc they are crincle coated not just paint so dont look like most other barrels that may be listed for sale The disks if you look are not standard RGV disks if you look at the drillings they are EBC ones i think RD 500 kick start hard to fined and mirror polished potability offed with the mechinisum that would be uncommon The blue water hoses blue ypcs cables the frame in fills have a gold gorse in them unlike any others you can se them in the picture with me in it Of course the person who stole this bike may very well be reading this or most likely had nothing to do with it them selves but told a friend or his dads mates about the bike showed them were i live and stayed at home while they came and stole it but its a chance i have to take. I dont think its any good members from hear it will be some one new some one who has been to my house in the last couple of months my address is not on the net so it has to be some who has been to the house and will be a new person . Any way im pointing out all the specialized parts on the bike anyway so if you see anything espeshaly if they are listed in the midlands area let me know . Its likely they may not try and sell for months or even lay it up for a year or longer you just dont know. But please recall this post if any trick items come up for sale ' hot babe on bike (3) by Norbo Lea, on Flickr P1030648 by Norbo Lea, on Flickr P1030763 by Norbo Lea, on Flickr KR F2 ypvs by Norbo Lea, on Flickr P1030645 by Norbo Lea, on Flickr And this one what is midlifecrises due to be picked up today . steve mcshain stolen bike by Norbo Lea, on Flickr

Oh sh*t, that's terrible news mate, and for Steve as well . Get as much detail on the bikes up as possible so guys can keep an eye out - make them too hot to handle. Hope you get a lead on where they are - you've got to saturate social media and every bike site you can. Every bike owners worst nightmare. Good luck - hope you get them back. Dusty

Norbs that’s terrible. I guess no cctv etc? Maybe neighbors have some footage. It’s probably of little consolation but im glad you are physically ok...it seems it’s a jungle out there now.

That's crap news Norbo, gutting for both of you, but also hope its not a member of the LC community, as that would make it worse.

I swear that they should punish bike thieves by cutting their hands off. 😡
Hope you get the bikes back and they get their comeuppance. 🔨⛏🗡

Sorry to hear this Norbo. You suspect someone that has been to your house for whatever reason. That's despicable. I've met a few people on here round their houses. Some are coy about showing me what they've got and some are rightfully pleased to show off what they have got. I'd like to think everyone on here as honest and it's a kind of helpful community. The law of averages states there will be some dishonest people though Good luck with tracking them. We're either tagged? Jon

I hope that the person(s) responsible are caught and punished,...fingers crossed that the bikes are returned to you.

Norbo, I almost don't want to ask, but were they both insured?
No consolation I know as every bike has a sentimental feel to those I build which can never be replaced. At least you can start again without too much financial strain if they are insured.

That’s a nightmare , the time and money we spend on our hobby is irreplaceable, at times we all get lapsed on security , like been said Cctv alarms , cars or vans backed up to garage doors , even trackers wired into bikes , I’ve been looking and there not much , hope you get it back , and find out whose done it, I no people who have had parts stolen from there garage when they’ve been helping people out , scum everywhere!

Absolutely gutted for you both. You can’t trust anyone these days. Let’s share this all over Facebook. We all search Ebay everyday so if they get stripped and sold we need to know full spec and pics so we can let you guys know. Let’s make it to hot to handle.

On a different note about insurance
Footman James have a policy where you can insure parts up to 5 grand , so if you have a part build in the garage etc but not mot'd taxed , it will be covered

Can you put an "ad" on ebay - the "sale" being the reward for info leading to the recovery of both bikes - get the pics of both of them on there so even non forumers see them, and flood social media - let everyone know what they look like and they are being "looked" for. This is when social media really comes into it's own. Lots of guys are on other forums apart from Lc's, so spread the word far and wide. Someone will know something at some point. A reward for some info may mean getting them back and some scumbags outed for what they are ! There is a page on Facebook for stolen bikes too - I see pics every day unfortunately Dusty

Scumbags at best. If it's someone that knows you that's even worse. I guess this is a reality check and warning to everyone that these bikes are worth a lot of money in bits and the scumbags have woken up to it :-(

Please lets not have a leap back to the 80's and have a repeat of the LC as the most stolen bike! Aid.

I know it’s bolting the door afterwards but increase your security if they strike once quite often they return at a later date. Sadly modern day old bill will just give a crime number. As everyone else has said swamp social media with details etc. I feckin hate thieves what gives them the right to just take someone else’s property. Get all the garages and sheds alarmed basically you have to make it more attractive for them to go elsewhere. Also Norbo do House to House with your neighbours ask them if they heard or saw anything have they got cctv etc you will be surprised how many people may have been up. I would also do a flyer to drop into every house not just in your road but also the road coming into your road from the main road think what route they would have taken into your road. Even though you won’t get police out speak to the local old bill and also get a crime number. Was there anything evidential left at the scene? Cut locks, even sometimes personal objects or even foot prints etc if so let the police know.

karma will sort them out

The other thing is keep monitoring eBay and gumtree, if they are known to you they are pretty feckin stupid, knowing the response this will get. If the street fighter was unique they will struggle to sell it or use it as I’m guessing you know very little bit of it. Don’t post on here any identifiable marks keep them to yourself also if you or Steve speak to the previous owner of the LC ask for any identifying marks and keep an eye out for bits popping up for sale if they are broken for bits
