Today I dropped of my subframes and a few odds n sods to be powder coated , I,m using a firm recommended by a fellow forum user , they've quoted me a weeks turnaround which,ll be great if they do... I got a little job to be done on the frame then I can reassemble back into a rolling chassis..Appy days ahead...

So I finally have a rolling chassis back on its feet....As can be seen I,m using Yamaha R6 forks that have been revalved and resprung by Maxton too suit the lighter Aprilia frame..Once I get back the coated parts I,ll be able to move on to the next phase of the build...

I'm just in the middle of trying to get a dry clutch together. It will be using a later TZ250 clutch which is 20mm lower than the older 350 type and uses an extra pair of plates. What type of dry clutch are you using?

They are good. Luke did my Rgv wheels and a few other parts last summer - excellent job. I first used them back in the 80's when they were in Feltham - did a 400 frame for me. I thought they had disappeared until Alex found them. Dusty
