It's an Oct 85 750F. Well it's an F according to the frame number, rear mudguard and fairing bracket. It has the longer swingarm and an 1100 tank. It's quite a mismash of all the models yet I've seen 3 identical. I've just put 1100 slingshot wheels and a WP front end on it. I have everything to put it back to standard including exhaust. I've got a full set of bodywork which I'm thinking of spraying in the red & black yoshimura 750G colours.

That one cost me £465 7 yrs ago next month. It was minus it's fairing. A mate oop north has about 7 1100's lol. What I love is it's 2 stroke type power delivery, that and the way it draws attention.

I used to ride a slabby 750 in Hong Kong. Fantastic bikes and that looks lovely.

Had a Blue and White J owned it for 20 years, the riding position killed my wrists in the end, sold her to get the power valve

Managed to find a picture of it. www.flickr.com/gp/159274186@N05/Xixa07The Honda next to it was mine also, CB900 with a CB1100R engine fitted bored out to 1123, gas flowed and re-profiled cams, went like stink for an old girl. Tony

Thanks boys. The paint, apart from the upper cowling is original. Its a sweet bike. I think it looks better in the flesh. The upper fairing was damaged in transit from the states to australia so thats why its not original. .

The F ones didn't curve back in towards the front wheel at the bottom.

I've got an early slabby, and keep thinking about selling it just to free up some space, then Kenny posts a few pics and I can't make that decision. It's not as nice a that, but I'm certain it's got to be a future classic, first of it's kind etc etc an iconic bike, first of the race reps.

I had a blue and white 1100h, had it when I met my wife, one of those bikes I wish I’d kept. When I turned up to take her out on our first date, she had her hair all done all done up, I turned up with an old spare lid, don’t think she realized I didn’t own a car.

I had an '88 GSX-R1100 slab sider, bought it for £1200 in about 2001, rode it, hated the handling even on 17" wheels, swapped it for a ZZR600 within 24 hours. Stuck some Bridgestone BT56ss tyres on it and scraped the hell out of it up in the Pyrenees round Biarritz for a week. It was a cracking little bike.

I do occasionally get thoughts of selling it and buy something modern (well between 1998 and 2004). But then I enjoy the attention it gets when I'm on it.
