Just couldnt resist a proper before and after for comparison purposes, just to mark how impressed i was when i walked into the spray shop.... Forgot to mention in previous post that the tank was rusty as f*ck inside despite my best efforts with rust remover etc, now clean as a whistle and all my lead repairs ironed out as if they wernt there, 1st class. Cheers KAS Racepaint!

Absolutely Fantastic job, real attention to the original details. I've also had a couple of sets painted by Paul at KAS (one white/blue two stripe and one mars bar (pic below as testament)) both look great, so I know how good your bike will look close up! Did you buy all new olive drab parts or did you have them refinished by someone? - I'm working on my second 4LO now (the blue and white one) and want to build with all the green bits so if you could recommend a plater it would be great. Congratulations on a great job - Roll on the summer! Cheers

Think the paint was £380 plus VAT if i remember rightly, worth every penny i might add. That included repairs and tank seal etc. Thanks for comments!!

sounds nice, but have to ask two things first did you have got the rubber seals on top of the carbs and it looks like you used a keyster carb kit as i had loads of trouble setting mine up with keyster kits fitted. the bike looks ace mate

Yes mate the rubber seals are on their way as we speak, ordered from my local Yam, Gary robbo spotted that one aswell!. Yeah keyster carb bits used unfortunately/stupidly, not all though, ive got the carbs off at the moment and im reffiting gen yam stuff that i have got. Im going to use the needles that were already in them when i bought it and change the pilots, mains are gen yam and oversize for the pipes.
Im also reffitng my old float needle valves aswell, as the keyster ones dont even seal no matter how far you adjust the float!! Not going to pay the Yam dealership £110 quoted for them, just going to refit the old ones and hope for the best. Might end up contacting allens again for bits!.
Its good to have all these eyes looking at your bike spotting missing bits and problems, etc, a real help. I didnt realise it had those rubber seals on the top as it didnt when i bought it! Cheers. Lee.
Keyster Carb kits should be banned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bike is great.
Loving the pic with the dog! I trust the cover is to keep the seat clean and not for creature comfort.
